8 Things a Custom Booking System Solves

Real-time Booking Calendar

Customers see live availability for rooms, seats, or time slots and book directly — no phone calls, no double bookings.

Deposit & Full Payment

Collect deposits or full payment at booking time via card, bank transfer, or Toss Payments. Refund rules run automatically by your cancellation policy.

No-show Prevention

Deposits, automatic reminders before the visit, and cancellation deadlines cut no-shows without you chasing customers.

Zero Platform Commission

Bookings through your own site are commission-free. Keep platform channels for discovery and move repeat customers to direct booking.

Owner Admin Dashboard

One screen for today's bookings, calendar management, blocking dates, pricing by season, and customer history.

KakaoTalk / SMS Notifications

Automatic booking confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notices via KakaoTalk AlimTalk or SMS.

Members, Coupons & Reviews

Repeat-customer accounts, coupon and point systems, and review collection to grow direct bookings.

Revenue & Occupancy Stats

Daily/monthly revenue, occupancy rates, channel comparison, and no-show statistics — aggregated automatically.

PRICING FACTORS

6 Factors That Affect Your Quote

01

What Gets Booked

A single room type, multiple rooms with different pricing, seats, equipment, or time slots — inventory complexity drives the calendar and data model.

02

Payment Flow

Deposit vs full payment, cancellation/refund policy automation, and on-site balance handling each add payment and settlement logic.

03

Notification Channels

KakaoTalk AlimTalk template registration, SMS fallback, and email — each channel adds setup and delivery-tracking work.

04

Web Only vs App

A responsive web booking page ships fastest. Native customer or owner apps add store submission, push notifications, and update cycles.

05

External Integrations

OTA channel sync, door locks, kiosks, PMS, or accounting exports — each integration is scoped by whether an official API exists.

06

Admin Feature Depth

From a simple booking list to seasonal pricing, staff accounts, statistics dashboards, and coupon management — admin scope scales the build.

SECURITY & OPS

Security & Operations

A booking system holds revenue-critical data. We operate it like one.

Booking Data Backup

Reservation and payment data live on a managed database with automatic backups enabled by default. Backup and recovery terms are written into the contract.

Server Operation Included (Optional)

No developer on your team? Choose the Freesi server option and we handle deployment, monitoring, and incident response — billed monthly at cost or as an annual prepay.

NDA & Least-Privilege Access

A legally binding NDA before kickoff, and we request only the minimum permissions needed to build and operate.

Full Ownership Transfer

Source code, cloud and domain accounts, and app store accounts are opened in your name. Switching vendors later requires no handover of ownership.

Personal Data Compliance

Customer names and contacts are handled under Korean PIPA with encryption and access controls designed in from the start.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you build a lodging website with room booking, and an app later?
Yes — that order is the one we recommend. The booking website with payments and an admin page ships first, and because you own the source code and accounts, the customer or owner app extends the same system later without rebuilding.
What is the difference between a customer app and an owner app?
A customer app lets guests browse, book, pay, and receive push notifications — a mid-size build. An owner app focuses on managing bookings, blocking dates, and checking revenue from your phone — smaller and often the more practical first app. Both connect to the same booking system.
Can you build a multi-vendor platform like the big booking apps?
Technically yes — member systems, vendor onboarding, points, reviews, and settlement are all buildable. But that is a startup-scale project, not a business website. We will tell you honestly at the scoping stage whether your goal needs a platform or a single-business system, and quote them separately.
I have no developer. Who runs the server after launch?
You can leave it to us. With the Freesi server option we handle deployment, monitoring, incident response, and updates — billed monthly at cost or as an annual prepay. Ownership of code and accounts stays with you, so you can move to another vendor anytime.
What happens if the system goes down or data is lost?
Booking and payment data run on a managed database with automatic backups on by default, and backup/recovery terms are written into the contract. During the 30-day warranty we fix issues free; under a maintenance contract, response times (SLA) are guaranteed in writing.
Can I keep taking bookings from Naver or OTA platforms too?
Yes. Most owners keep platform channels for discovery and use their own site for repeat customers, where there is no commission. Where a platform provides an official API we can sync availability; where it does not, we design the operating rules to avoid double bookings.
How do you prevent no-shows?
Three layers: a deposit at booking time, automatic reminders before the visit, and cancellation deadlines with automated refund rules. Owners we work with typically see no-shows drop sharply once deposits are introduced.
Can bookings trigger KakaoTalk messages?
Yes. We register AlimTalk templates for confirmation, reminder, and cancellation messages, with SMS fallback for customers who cannot receive AlimTalk.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
A single-business booking website typically takes 3–5 weeks at KRW 1.5M–4M. Adding operations features takes it to 4M–9M, and apps or platform structures start around 9M. Submit your requirements and the AI quote returns your range in 30 seconds.
What about maintenance after launch?
Bug fixes are free for 30 days per the contract warranty. After that, choose monthly maintenance with a defined SLA or request one-off changes. The developer who built your system handles maintenance — no handover gap.
